2008-11-04 - Brisinger series continued
As excited as I was to be reading book three I was caught by surprise at the revelation that the trilogy is going into book 4. I found that book 3 did not have as much character development as book 2. I look forward to book 4.
2008-11-03 - Awesome
If you liked te firs two books of the cycle you will love this one, the amazing story paolini created continues and keeps you entretained all the way from page one to the last one.
2008-11-03 - Brisingr
As always, Christopher Paolini serves up a very well written story. I was pleased with the more central focus on Eragon and his story in this installment of the series, as opposed to the half and half balance between Eragon and Roran in Eldest. Note to those interested in the novel -- new secrets are revealed and some that were revealed in Eldest are found to be false. I enjoyed the book very much and am now dreading the wait for the last book.
2008-11-03 - The much-awaited third book...
Brisingr, Paolini's third book, was eagerly snatched up by many who had been waiting to find out what adventures were waiting for Eragon. It is still wonderful writing, but is much bloodier with even more figting and battles. This might make it inappropriate for some younger readers who read Eragon. However, I am afraid we will have to wait again because this book did not end Eragon's story. There will be a fourth book to look forward to.
2008-11-03 - interesting read
I bought two copies of this book, one for me and one for my great nephew who is 16. My family have all read the Eragon series of books and enjoy them. My son has my book now and my husband is line to read it,too. Dragons, adventure, a well developed fantasy world with many cultures and creatures, great good guys and terrible bad guys and a good story what could be better. : ) except the last book in the series. Come on Christopher finish that book! I will order it early as I did this one.
